1. Please keep our Vocationist Fathers in your prayers. Rest assured that you continue to remain in their daily prayers until the time we can gather together again to worship as a parish family and faith community.
2 May 10th is Mother’s Day. We wish all our Mater Dei Parish mothers a happy and blessed Mother’s Day, and invite you to send in the names of mothers and important women in your lives. The names will be placed on the Altar and prayed for throughout the month of May.
3. Our parish churches will reopen on Monday, May 11th for a few hours during the day for private prayer and devotion. Our churches are still not open for public Masses or sacrament celebrations. YOU MUST CALL THE PARISH OFFICE AT 334-5066 TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IN ADVANCE TO VISIT YOUR CHURCH. The number of people allowed in church at any one time is still restricted, so you MUST schedule the church and time you would like to visit. Families are encouraged to visit Jesus and pray together. Family members living in the same household are not restricted
4. Palms will be available at our parish churches beginning on Monday, May 11th. You are welcome to come and pick one up
5. There are some spaces available if you would like attend daily Mass on Monday through Friday. YOU MUST CALL THE PARISH OFFICE AT 334-5066 TO MAKE SURE THERE IS SPACE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND MASS. Again, the number of people allowed in church at any one time is still restricted.
6. The rectory office is open to take your telephone calls to reserve your spot for private prayer or to attend daily Mass on Mondays through Thursdays between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon, and from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, and on Fridays between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon.
7. Donations for last week totaled $6,005, which leaves us with a deficit of $5,705 for the week. We sincerely thank those who continue to support our parish financially while our Churches need to remain closed.
