YEAR OF ST. JOSEPH
Opening Prayer
Prayer to St. Joseph
Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer,
Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
To you God entrusted his only Son;
in you Mary placed her trust;
with you Christ became man.
Blessed Joseph, to us too,
show yourself a father
and guide us in the path of life.
Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage,
and defend us from every evil. Amen.
Thank You
For covering for me during the Christmas Holidays

January Dates of Importance:
January 15th: All decorations will be removed – assistance required at 4:00PM
January 23rd, Feast of the Holy Spouses: While there have been feasts of Mary and Joseph as individual saints, and more recently also a feast of the Holy Family, no feast honoring their marriage has entered into the universal liturgical calendar of the Church. The Oblates of St. Joseph celebrate January 23 as the feast of “The Holy Spouses Mary and Joseph”.
January 24th, Word of God Sunday: Each Sunday an important part of the Mass is the Liturgy of the Word. A time in which we recall the story of our salvation by reading from Holy Scripture. Studying and praying with the Word of God is an important aspect of our faith. So much so that in September of 2019, Pope Francis instituted Word of God Sunday which is to be observed each year on the Third Sunday of Ordinary Time.
The Pope intended this day be dedicated to the celebration, reflection and dissemination of the Word.
This year, Word of God Sunday will fall on January 24, 2021.
Let us take time on this January day to reflect on God’s revelation through his Word.

Closing Prayer
As we close this meeting, Lord, we thank You for bringing us together tonight. May You bless each person and let Your hand of protection be on us throughout the rest of the week. Let the decisions made tonight be for Your glory. Help each to do our part to bring the plans to life.
Bless us and keep us safe until we gather together again.
Let us Pray….
Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
