On Corpus Christi Sunday, June 2, 2024, our K of C is organizing a Eucharistic Procession in St. Mary's Church, Newport. Please, come and join us in this Eucharistic Revival Year.

On Sunday, May 19, we thank all our catechists and volunteers who supported our religious education and young apostles fundraising throughout this year.

His Holiness, Pope Francis, has appointed Monsignor John J. McDermott, presently Diocesan Administrator of the Diocese of Burlington, to become the 11th Bishop of Burlington. His ordination and installation will take place at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Burlington, Vermont.

Fr. James will celebrate the sacrament of Anointing of the sick on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:30 am and Sunday, May 12, 2024, at 11:30 am and pray over any of the sick in your family. St. James says in Chapter 5: 16 that, therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful.

Please, bring your mothers especially if they are elderly to honor them and receive a special blessing from our priests. “Honor your father and mother. "This is the first commandment with a promise, “that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life on earth.” - Ephesians 6:2-3
